Maximize Diamonds - Guide For Spenders
Overview
Section titled “Overview”This is a guide for those who want to maximize the amount of diamonds for events or otherwise to stockpile them. The Diamond Shop is a MUST avoid for any player; 5k diamonds for $100. This is one of the absolute worst deals ever.
The purpose of this guide is to maximize the amount of diamonds a person can receive at the lowest amount spent. Reasons may be such as black market VIP purchases, or for events such as Gacha Go (unlimited diamonds can be spent on pulls) or the Discount Coupon Event, which is extremely diamond heavy.
To maximize diamonds, we need to take advantage of the Daily Must-Buy (DMB) and how the pricing and rewards work. The concept is the same regardless of pricing. The prices will be illustrated in USD.
DMB rewards bar
Section titled “DMB rewards bar”First, it is important to understand how the rewards bar works in the DMB. It pays out diamonds as follows:
- 10 points = 500 diamonds.
- 50 points = 2500 diamonds.
- 100 points = 5000 diamonds.
- 200 points = 10,000 diamonds.
- 300 points = 15,000 diamonds.
The bar is a 1:1 conversion to USD which makes it easy for American players to understand. It is the same with other currencies; the equivalent purchase in non USD will provide the same as if it was an USD Purchase.
Weekly goal
Section titled “Weekly goal”Our goal here is to get to $300 by the end of the week if we wish to maximize the amount we get. The bar resets weekly. However, you can convert this guide to fit another momentary amount such as 100 or 200 in case you have other things to get or do not want to spend as much. Here is the math portion and explanation:
DMB packs
Section titled “DMB packs”DMB = 9 total packs to buy. These packs are:
- Speed ups - $5
- Wrenches - $5
- Badges -$5
- Alloy - $5
- Skill Books - $10
- Zents - $5
- Wood - $5
- Food - $5
- Power $5
All packs except skill books provide 1k diamonds for the $5 purchase. Skill book provides 1k for a $10 purchase so we remove this as a purchase for this guide.
The following packs provide 2k diamonds for a $10 purchase:
- Zent
- Wood
- Food
- Power
This guide is written under the assumption that players want to maximize diamonds ASAP and do not care which resources are bought. A seperate section is for those that do not want to buy power.
Day-by-day plan
Section titled “Day-by-day plan”purchase all packs except skill books in the DMB at $5. You are now at 40/300 towards the bar.
You then purchase all 4 of the resource packs for $10 in the shop at $40 total. You are now at 80/300 for the bar.
In one day you purchased the following:
- $5 packs = 8000 diamonds total.
- $10 packs = 8,000 diamonds total.
- Overall total = 16,000 diamonds.
Then do the following:
Repeat.
Repeat.
You are now at 240/300 for bar progression. Purchase as follows:
- All $5 packs. (8000 diamonds)
- Resource packs of your choice. (4000 diamonds)
Doing so will yield the following gains:
- Bought diamonds: (16,000 x 3) + 12,000 = 60,000 diamonds.
- Bonus diamonds: 500 + 2500 + 5000 + 10,000 + 15000 = 33,000 bonus diamonds.
- Total diamonds overall = 93,000 diamonds.
As you can clearly see, this is more than a 6x return. Furthermore, you will reap the rewards of the packs you purchased as well.
No power & zent tweak
Section titled “No power & zent tweak”Day 1: Purchase packs 1-4, 7, 8 at $5. You are at 30/300.
Purchase packs 7 & 8 again at $10. You are at a of 50/300. This method will take 6 days to complete (50 a day x 6 days = 300 points).
Side note
Section titled “Side note”If you purchase $300 worth of gold bars from the shop (provides an additional 5% value), you will obtain an additional $15 worth of bars for purchases such as the daily buy for $1.
