Mythic Forging Event — F2P & Spender Guide

The Mythic Forging event reaches State 677 next week. This is the planning sheet: what a Mythic piece actually costs, what free-to-play players should do with every stone they own, and what each spending tier really buys.

Material costs on this page are verified ✅ against the live game and the DWD community dataset. Supply key pack prices have no published source ⚠️ and are indicative only — read the live event shop before spending anything.

Read this first

Mythic levels 1 → 5 cost zero Pulse Modules. Only the final Mythic transformation consumes them — 50 per piece, once ✅.

That means there is nothing to save Pulse Modules for until a piece is already sitting at Lv.5. Do not stockpile Forging Stones waiting on Modules you do not need yet.

Push your formation up the ladder on Forging Stones alone, and keep your Modules for the final step.

Where the cost sits. Taking one piece to Lv.5 costs 680 Forging Stones and 260M Electricity, with no Pulse Modules at all — and it already delivers +100% base stats.

The final Mythic step adds the other +100% and the 25 extra enhance levels. It costs 300 Forging Stones, 50 Pulse Modules and 200M Electricity — that is 31% of the stones, 43% of the electricity, and 100% of the Pulse Modules.

Which steps are worth your stones

Not every level is priced the same. Stat gained per 100 Forging Stones, step by step:

The curve is a U. The cheap gains are at the bottom, the Mythic step at the top is excellent value again, and Lv.4 → Lv.5 is the expensive bridge between them.

This is the same shape as the D5 hexagon rule: the grind is front-loaded onto the last steps before the payoff. Do not start the bridge on a piece you are not committed to finishing.

The free-to-play plan

1. Run 3–4 orange bounty missions daily. Orange-tier bounty chests are the main free Forging Stone source. Blue bounties are not worth the mission slot.
2. Take every formation piece to Lv.2 first. At 80 stones for +30%, this is the cheapest power in the entire event. Five pieces to Lv.2 costs 400 stones total.
3. Then bring them all to Lv.3. Another 100 stones each, still zero Pulse Modules, and you are at +50% across the board for 900 stones total.
4. Stop and pick one piece. Lv.4 and Lv.5 are the worst-value steps in the game. Only pay them on the single piece you intend to carry all the way to Mythic.
5. Bank Pulse Modules and do not touch them. 50 converts one piece. They are the hard bottleneck and they only arrive from event milestones and paid bundles.
6. Claim every free key tier and every event milestone. Free draws are pure upside regardless of your budget.

Watch your Electricity. A full formation needs 2,300M Electricity on top of the stones. If your production is thin, that — not Forging Stones — may be what actually stalls you. Check your stockpile before the event opens.

Treat every price, pack size and purchase limit here as a rough shape, not a quote ⚠️. Pack offers also vary by server, region, VIP level and spending history, so yours may differ even if these were right somewhere.

What survives regardless is the method: work out cost per key for every pack you are actually offered, then buy strictly cheapest-first.

Two things to notice before you open your wallet.

The Battle Pass is the cheapest key source in the event — $0.32 per key, roughly a third of Tier 5, and it throws in 100 Forging Stones and 35 Power Cores on top. If you spend one dollar on this event, spend it here.

Tier 7 is a trap. It is the same $99.99 as Tier 6 for 20 fewer keys — 25% worse value, and the worst deal in the shop. Buy it last, or not at all.

Both points depend on the pack list above being accurate. Recompute cost per key from the live shop before you commit to anything.

Buy the Battle Pass first. At $0.32 per key it is the cheapest source in the event by a wide margin, and it is easy to miss because it sits outside the supply key shop.

Taking it first and then filling upward from Tier 2 reaches roughly 700 draws for about $545. Skipping it and buying an extra Tier 5 pack instead costs around $30 more and leaves you with fewer keys.

The number nobody has verified yet

How many Forging Stones and Pulse Modules a single draw actually yields has never been published anywhere.

Every “700 draws for a full set” figure going around is an assumption layered on top of that gap, not a measured rate. It may be close. It may be badly off in either direction.

Before you commit to a spending tier, open the event screen and read its own drop table. If you record your draw results, pass them on and this page will be updated with real measured rates.
