Season 2 - Recommended Support Mastery Skills

  • Stay primarily in Support Mastery while progressing Bio Lab, resistance, Smart Greenhouses, Frost Cores, and Iceblooms.
  • A practical breakpoint for permanently leaving Support is around Bio Lab Level 28, when players can continue handling the highest seasonal Leopards/Boomers without relying as heavily on Support resistance bonuses.
  • Before that point, it is still reasonable to temporarily reset into Combat Mastery on Enemy Buster / Capital Clash day, then return to Support afterward.
  • Support priorities change after reaching Mastery Level 30, because Mastery EXP skills stop providing meaningful progression value once the level cap is reached.
PrioritySkillRecommendationWhy It Matters
★★★★★Resistance BoostMAXOne of the most important Support skills while resistance still matters. It helps players reach the resistance needed for higher-level seasonal creatures earlier and is a major reason Support remains valuable before Bio Lab 28.
★★★★★Frost Core RefinementMAXImproves Frost Core income. Frost Cores are a major bottleneck for seasonal progression, so this should be treated as a core economy skill.
★★★★★Icebloom ProductionMAXImproves Icebloom production and keeps seasonal building progression moving. Frost Cores and Iceblooms should be improved together rather than choosing only one resource path.
★★★★★Swift RallyMAX / 5Strongly recommended for active Yeti farming. Yetis can require longer marches, and faster rally movement / troop return reduces downtime between rallies so formations become available sooner for the next Yeti.
★★★★★ earlyArchitect’s InsightMAX before Mastery 30Excellent while progressing because it accelerates Mastery EXP gained from seasonal building upgrades. Once Mastery Level 30 is reached, these points should be reconsidered because additional Mastery EXP no longer advances the player.
★★★★★ post-capVault Master5/5 after Mastery 30 when possibleOnce Mastery Level 30 is reached, this becomes a very useful alliance-support investment. Maxing the skill allows capped players to drop a stronger vault for alliance members to loot. Detailed vault mechanics are covered separately.
★★★★☆Injury ReliefHigh / MAX when points allowUseful for repeated seasonal PvE by reducing the impact of injuries while farming Boomers, Leopards, Yetis, and other seasonal creatures.
★★★★☆Eco RecoveryHighImproves seasonal building construction efficiency and becomes increasingly useful as Bio Lab and other seasonal building timers grow longer.
★★★★☆Build SupportGood investmentUseful for both personal progression and helping alliance members accelerate seasonal construction.
★★★☆☆Work as OneSituational / goodImproves alliance-help efficiency. Helpful, but generally below the core resistance, economy, Yeti-farming, and post-cap alliance-support skills.
★★☆☆☆Free ConstructionSituationalMore useful earlier when seasonal construction timers are shorter. Its relative value drops as upgrade times become much longer.
★★☆☆☆Shield BondSituationalUseful tactical support for protecting an alliance member, but it does not directly accelerate seasonal progression.
Low after capSiege ExpertUse mainly before Mastery 30Helpful while Mastery EXP still matters. Once Mastery Level 30 is reached, the points are usually better moved into skills that still provide progression, farming, or alliance value.

While still leveling Mastery, prioritize skills that create a compounding progression advantage:

  1. Architect’s Insight — accelerate Mastery EXP.
  2. Resistance Boost — reach higher seasonal creatures sooner.
  3. Frost Core Refinement — improve Frost Core income.
  4. Icebloom Production — improve Icebloom economy.
  5. Swift Rally — reduce Yeti rally travel and return downtime.

Once Mastery Level 30 is reached, re-evaluate any points invested mainly for Mastery EXP generation.

  • Resistance Boost
  • Frost Core Refinement
  • Icebloom Production
  • Swift Rally
  • Vault Master — 5/5 when points allow

Then allocate remaining points based on current progression needs into Injury Relief, Eco Recovery, Build Support, or Work as One.

Swift Rally should not be viewed as only a convenience skill.

For active Yeti farming, the repeating cycle is:

Join rally → march to Yeti → defeat Yeti → return → join the next rally

Longer-distance Yetis increase the amount of time a formation is unavailable. Faster rally movement and troop return means:

  • Less downtime between Yeti rallies.
  • Formations return sooner and are available for the next rally.
  • Active players can participate in more rallies over the same period.
  • The benefit compounds across repeated daily Yeti farming.

Because of this, Swift Rally deserves a full ★★★★★ rating for active Season 2 players.

Why Resistance, Frost Cores, and Iceblooms Form the Core

Section titled “Why Resistance, Frost Cores, and Iceblooms Form the Core”

These three skills work together:

Resistance Boost helps unlock stronger seasonal targets earlier.

Frost Core Refinement improves one of the primary seasonal progression resources.

Icebloom Production supports the other side of the seasonal building economy.

A strong Support build should therefore avoid over-investing in one resource while neglecting the others.

Before Mastery 30: prioritize Mastery growth + resistance + seasonal economy + Swift Rally.

At Mastery 30: remove points from Mastery-EXP-only skills when they no longer provide value.

Post-cap: keep the core economy/resistance skills, keep Swift Rally for Yeti farming, and strongly consider Vault Master 5/5 for alliance support.

Enemy Buster + Capital Clash: temporarily switch to the recommended Combat Mastery build when appropriate.

Working recommendation for Everfrost Season 2. Exact allocations can be refined further based on available skill points and the player’s current Bio Lab / seasonal progression.
